Nene Electrical proudly installed the electrical overhaul for Castore, an elite sportswear brand renowned for its partnerships with some of the most distinguished names in sports, including the English Premier League, the England Cricket Team, and Formula 1 racing.
The Project Setting
With a fresh lease on a massive 120,000sqft facility, Castore was on a tight schedule, aiming to be in their new premises within four weeks. This ambitious timeline demanded an exceptionally swift response, to which Nene Electrical ensured no time was wasted in kickstarting the project.
The Challenge & Solution
Our role involved a comprehensive clearance of outdated electrical setups and high-level lighting, paving the way for the introduction of a modern lighting infrastructure. This new system, strictly designed to complement the updated racking arrangement, incorporated advanced features such as integrated emergency lighting and motion sensors, all connected to newly installed distribution boards.
Additionally, our team expertly installed a series of forklift charging stations to support Castore’s operational needs. Our commitment to excellence extended further to include a thorough Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for the building, alongside providing electrical solutions for the canteen refurbishment, toilet facilities, and modifications to the existing fire alarm systems.
Conclusion
The project’s design, execution, and seamless handover were completed quickly, facilitating Castore’s move to their new facility within the planned timeframe. This strategic timing enabled the client to be fully operational ahead of the critical Christmas season, aligning perfectly with their objectives.
