Job Description

Nene Electrical is part of the brand collective owned by Nene Group a privately-owned business that has been trading for almost 50 years.

Ideally, candidates will come from an industrial and commercial electrical services background. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for managing multiple installation projects across the industry, mostly within the commercial and industrial sectors. Typically, projects are located within a 60-mile radius of our Northamptonshire head office, although travel further afield may be required.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the project at handover from estimating to completion
• Deliver within budget and timescale
• Programming, planning, and reporting of all project management activities.
• Procurement of materials and labour
• Management of directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour
• Management of design process
• Overseeing health and safety activities
• Liaising with clients
• Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring a high-quality installation

It is important to note that whilst the brief of this appointment is broad, the management team will not expect the candidate to do anything outside their comfort zone for which they have not been provided training.

Requirements

• Sales driven, focused and outgoing.
• Entrepreneurial and personable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to manage own diary with excellent time management skills.
• Happy to travel.
• The ideal candidate will be required to be a time-served electrician with good installation and management skills.
• A proven track record in a similar position is considered essential.
• Previous management of multiple projects
• Strong client-facing skills.
• Good level of IT literacy and strong organisation skills.
• A desire to embrace training, development, and progress within the business.
• City & Guilds 2380 or 2382 or inequivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
