BauWatch is a leading provider of advanced security solutions, specialising in surveillance and monitoring equipment for construction sites and commercial premises. Their facility in Northampton is used for repairing and maintaining their security equipment, requiring a practical and reliable electrical system to support daily operations.
At Nene Electrical, we have extensive experience delivering bespoke electrical installations for commercial and industrial clients. The Challenge
The client required a safe and practical power solution for servicing equipment within their workshop. Their operations relied on 110-volt supplies, with power points needed at high levels to keep cables organised, minimise trip hazards, and improve accessibility across the workspace.
The installation also needed to provide enough capacity and flexibility for multiple workstations while maintaining a professional finish suited to an industrial environment.
The Solution
To meet these requirements, we installed a new 3-phase distribution board supplying a dedicated 110-volt transformer and a new 110-volt distribution board. We also installed several high-level retractable sockets suspended from a custom-built framework, providing convenient access to power while keeping cables off the workshop floor and reducing clutter.
The system was designed to deliver a reliable, user-friendly solution that would support the client’s ongoing repair and maintenance activities.

The Finished Project
